The Bond series continued in the form of the series’ production company having their office at The Dorchester, where press junkets for its films took place. William Boyd continued the Bond legacy with the novel Solo and in it, James Bond wakes up in The Dorchester suite on his forty-fifth birthday. Fleming was a fixture at the hotel, where he often dined and stayed in the 1940s and through till 1964 when he died.

But, The Vesper Bar was named after Bond Author Ian Fleming, who created the Vesper Martini. When most people hear the name Vesper and James Bond, especially in thinking about the Daniel Craig films, and Casino Royale, the custom-made cocktail in that movie comes to mind. The 1930s is noticeable with mirrored accent walls, the Palladium leaf ceiling, and hints of Art.
